Summer school "Global Health & Migration: interdisciplinary tools to tackle health inequalities (GlobHe-M) VUOTO VUOTO August 28th - September 7th 2012 - Bologna, Italy August 28th - September 7th 2012 - Bologna, Italy GlobHe-M is a joint educational initiative of nine European higher education institutions. The rapid transformation of European societies linked to globalisation processes is a great challenge for social and health policies, and impacts on the distribution and quality of population health and its determinants. Since inequalities are increasingly widening, action can not be postponed, starting from education. The aim of the GlobHe-M course is to start filling in the educational gap which prevents scholars from developing knowledge and skills tailored to deal with the challenges posed by a globalised society, in particular concerning population health issues and inequalities. The course has been awarded 6 ECTS credits by the University of Bologna.
